Position description

Teach students the fundamentals of software quality assurance, including test planning, manual testing, identifying and documenting defects, and validating software before release. Provide practical instruction on testing from different user perspectives and communicating test results clearly.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or software development.
Working knowledge of manual software testing and test planning.
Ability to identify, document, and communicate software defects clearly.
Familiarity with common software development and testing processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.
Experience working with different types of software users and testing applications from multiple user perspectives.
Ability to develop and evaluate practical testing exercises and assignments.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
